How to: Classic Margarita

For a classic margarita you can use any type of tequila: Reposado, Anejo, or Blanco.

Our best recommendation would be a reposado as it pairs very well with lime and adds a little smokiness.

Recipe// Made for a 8 oz glass

1.5 OZ of your preferred tequila

.5 OZ of cointreau or triple sec ( If you want a sweeter margarita, use triple sec as it has more sugar)

.5 OZ of Agave nectar or simple syrup

1 OZ of lime juice

Shake vigorously 10-15 times

Rim your glass if wanted

Strain over a fresh set of ice

FUN FACTS ABOUT THE MARGARITA:

Did you know that 'Margarita' is Spanish for Daisy.

The Margarita is dated back to the 1930's originated in Tehuacán, Puebla, Mexico.

The Margarita is made to be played with, which is why the recipe is simple and you can adjust to your liking.
